About Us

Dan was born and raised in western Pennsylvania, USA.  He lived in the north hills of Pittsburgh until moving to Geneva College after graduating from High-school.  Graduating from Geneva with a BA in Student Ministry and a BS in Emergency Services Management, he moved to Pittsburgh to study at the Center for Emergency Medicine (CEM) to earn his Paramedic certification which expounded upon his Emergency Medical Technician training which he obtained while at Geneva.  After Graduating from the CEM, he married Carolyn on July 19.  They moved to Zelienople which is located north of Pittsburgh about 30 miles.  They lived there for about a year until the Lord began to direct them to join with Wycliffe.

Carolyn was born in Buffalo, New York, USA and her family moved to eastern Pennsylvania when she was four due to her father's work.  Eight years later her family moved again to western Pennsylvania.  They settled in Zelienople and this is where Carolyn lived until she attended Geneva College.  Majoring in Ethno-Linguistics, Carolyn graduated with a BA.  She then moved to Pittsburgh spending a year working as a medical assistant.  Moving to Zelienople with her new husband, she eventually began working at the childcare center in their home church of Harmony-Zelienople United Methodist Church (HZUMC) which her and Dan are active members of.
